Daddy's First Father's Day!

We went to Idaho to visit my family for Father's Day. It was a blast and Kaymbree did so well traveling. Dan enjoyed his first Father's Day and it is still a little weird that we are parents. But at the same time Kaymbree is so perfect in our family we can't imagine life without her. Our little girl is almost a month old! Where does time go? I have been told to take a million pictures because they only stay this small for a short time. I don't want her to grow up too fast so here are a lot of pictures of our girl. I can't kiss her cheeks enough, smell her enough, or cuddle her enough. Don't grow up too fast baby girl!

Look What I Found Mommy!!!

Mommy, guess what I found today?????? My little thumb! And it tastes so good!

It is so delicious that I don't even care if I squish my nose so hard I can only breathe out of one nostril. It is worth it!

I was a thumb sucker so we will see if she really turns into a thumb sucker, she is a little young for me to tell yet. And it was only on one day she found her thumb 2 times!

I just wanted you to see my beautiful eyes!

Okay now I am getting a little tired.

Yes, I need my beauty sleep, back to bed!
(What a precious little angel, I can stare at her all day and night!)

Kaymbree's First Week

So we are in heaven with our baby girl Kaymbree. She is so much fun I can't believe that she is ours! Happy to report that her jaundice is gone and she is doing great. Breastfeeding has been a challenge but Kaymbree and I working on it together and it is getting easier! It is so fun to have that time where it is just Kaymbree and I. Daddy is so love with her and we both can't get enough of Kaymbree. Sometimes we argue about who should hold her because we both want her! Here are some pictures of her first week being at home.

SURPRISE....KAYMBREE IS HERE!!!

KAYMBREE IS HERE!!! We are so excited to have our precious baby girl at home! She is such a miracle and our life has completely changed for the better!! She is so beautiful and we love her more than anything in this world. She decided to come 2 weeks early and to be a May baby instead of waiting till June. She is very healthy, she has a little jaundice that we are trying to get out of her quickly. But she lights up the room and I could stare at her all day long. I love her so much that it hurts and I can't believe the overwhelming feelings of being a new mother. I am so blessed to have her for eternity and that Heavenly Father trusted us with his child. Dan is the BEST dad ever an d I am so thankful for all his help. I am recovering well and have never been better. Here are a bunch of pictures and there are many more on the way.

Kaymbree K. Henry was born on Sunday May 31, 2009 * 7lbs 2oz *19.5 inches.

CATCH UP!!!!

Okay so I haven't been so good at blogging lately. So here is what has been happening in my life lately. First is the pregnancy update: I am dilated to a 2 and have a scheduled inducement on Thursday June 4Th. But this past weekend I seriously thought I was going into labor!!! I was contracting all night and day on Saturday. They were 5 minutes apart about 30 seconds long. We really didn't know what to do and so we called my doctor. He said to take a warm bath to see if the contractions spread out. So they started not being as consistent. I was in a lot of pain and got a small glimpse of the pain of labor. I still have been contracting every day since but just not as much. Dan and I decided we might want to pack for the hospital and get ready for our little baby! I know we are so bad that we hadn't packed yet, but now we are ready to rock and roll. I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow and can't wait to see if there has been anymore progression. I feel like so much in my body has been changing this past week. I can't believe I am so close to being a mommy! I have a little over a week before Kaymbree is here. We can't wait!

Here is the other things that we have been up to! I am starting from the most recent and going backwards. Sorry about the long post of Catch Up!

HENRY FAMILY MEMORIAL DAY

We went to Orem to celebrate Memorial Day with Dan's family. We had a basketball tournament, barbecue, and softball tournament. It was a lot of fun even though I didn't get to play. It was fun to watch the kids and just enjoy hanging out with the family.
