Easter

The Easter Bunny came to our house on Easter. We had a good time having an egg hunt and our church is at 9 so we had to get right into our clothes for church. Which made Kaymbree upset and she was not cooperating and was a pill during church that day because all she wanted to do was play with her eggs and eat her candy at home.  So lesson learned if we have early church on Easter we might need to wait till after church to see what is in the baskets.

I made the girls matching Easter dresses out of ruffle fabric. I think that they turned out so cute and I am very impressed with myself.  I just wish Kaymbree looked a little happier to be in the "Bell Dress" that she calls it.

It is kinda Kaymbree's special treat to help daddy drive to church each week.  We live like 4 houses away from the church so it is really not far and usually we walk but one day we were running late so we hoped in the car and Dan let Kaymbree help steer. So now she never wants to walk and always wants to drive to our really close church house.

This is us trying to get a family picture on Easter. Our kids just didn't feel like it!

At least this cute guy would hold still and pose for me!
I am so thankful for Easter and the time we have to reflect on our Savior.  The Savior suffered so much for us and gave us the Atonement so that we can be forgiven for our sins.  I love the Savior so much and appreciate all that he has done for me personally.  I really do "Feel My Savior's Love" daily.  And I wish I would do better at remembering him all the time.

Staples in the Head & Getting Ears Pierced

We had to take Kaymbree to the Urgent Care on Wednesday when she was climbing on a toy and fell backwards and cracked her head on the corner of our entertainment center. She had to get 3 staples in the back of her head. She was such a trooper and did a really good job. It was sad but she is feeling a lot better cause the "doctor fixed her head". My girls are really out of control and are active climbers. So we knew this day was coming sooner than later. But it is never fun to see your kids in pain and I always wish I could trade them places. So glad she is okay.

So we have been getting the itch to pierce our girls ears and we finally did it. Kaymbree has been asking for pink sparkly earrings for a long time. So after her accident we decided we were going to do it. They did great! They cried like they do when they get shots at the doctor. But after about a minute they were fine. I think they are adorable!

Cancun

We just got back from a wonderful vacation to Cancun Mexico. My amazing parents took Dan and I with them this year and we were so happy. We had such a blast and can't believe how lucky we were to go with them. We learned so much Book of Mormon history and I can't wait to read and learn more. I feel like the Book of Mormon will just jump to life now that I have seen what it was like.  The weather was amazing and the sun was just what we needed. This vacation couldn't have come at a better time.  And my parents are really awesome and kept up with us the whole time and went zip lining, cave tubing, atv riding, snorkeling, biking, etc.  I mean we went hard and had a ball! Here are just a few pics of our fun trip! Thanks to Stacey and Kim for watching our girls while we were gone!

Christmas Time!

We spent Christmas in Idaho this year with my family.  It is always a treat for us to go there and have my kids enjoy Christmas traditions the same way I did growing up.  And it is also fun to go to Dan's family for that reason too.  My little sister Katie and her family were there as well and we had a blast because she has two boys roughly the same ages as my girls.  Plus my dad makes us his delicious Prime Rib every Christmas dinner.  So it was to die for as usual and always special.  I realized I didn't get any pictures with everyone.  I am usually not wanting to annoy people by saying lets get a picture but looking back I really should have.  Next year I will be really annoying around the holidays with our family!

Christmas was on Sunday this year and it was good to go and sing and celebrate the birth of Christ in the Chapel for Christmas.  Love Christmas!
