KK Jumping Off The Diving Board

-
So Kaymbree is pretty fearless and loves to swim.  Luckily we pretty much swim everyday out here in the southern humidity.  I have to have her puddle jumper life jacket on always because she will run and jump in the deep end or jump off the diving board. And little sister Kennedy isn't far behind and loves the water too.  . Kennedy will jump off the steps in the pool and just be floating and bobbin in the pool without a care.  And when she watches her older sister go off the diving board I have to hold her back not to go too. Crazy Kids!!! These girls keep me on my toes that is for sure. But Dan was so proud of KK jumping off the diving board.  He is a fish and I guess the girls take after him.

New Orlean's Weekend

We flew into New Orleans and had a fun weekend to celebrate being together as a family again, Dan's birthday, and Mother's day.  (catching up on old posts).  We went to the Audubon Aquarium and had a blast.  We were originally going to go to the zoo in New Orleans but then there was a huge rain storm.  So we improvised and had a great time seeing New Orleans for the first time. Of course our girls loved to see all the fishes and then we went and got some good southern food.

Kennedy didn't pee out in these pictures. Her stroller got soaked in the rainstorm.

Bourbon Street was crazy to drive on.  We went there at 9 am and they were cleaning up from the night before.  It was someplace I will never go again but it was cool to see.

Kaymbree Turns 3

Can't believe my Kaymbree girl is already 3 years old! I love her so much and I can't believe how much of a big girl she is. We are in Mississippi for the summer so we had a low key birthday for her. Swimming and a cake.    She wanted a Tinker Bell cake so we got her one.  She is so sweet and completely satisfied with her cake, a doctor kit, and microphone.  We got her other stuff too but I am going to enjoy this time where she is happy with the small things.  Because I know soon she will be asking us for a ipod, iphone, ipad, and whatever else they invent by then! I wish we could stop them from growing to fast!  Here is what she is loving right now
Favorite Show: Doc McStuffins
Favorite Movie: Alvin and the Chipmunks
Favorite Food: Quesadilla and cheetos
Favorite Drink: Root Berry (root beer)
Favorite Color: Purple
Favorite Princess: changes everyday but now it is Rapunzel
Favorite Thing to Do: Go swimming
Favorite thing to play:  Pirate ship

Easter

The Easter Bunny came to our house on Easter. We had a good time having an egg hunt and our church is at 9 so we had to get right into our clothes for church. Which made Kaymbree upset and she was not cooperating and was a pill during church that day because all she wanted to do was play with her eggs and eat her candy at home.  So lesson learned if we have early church on Easter we might need to wait till after church to see what is in the baskets.

I made the girls matching Easter dresses out of ruffle fabric. I think that they turned out so cute and I am very impressed with myself.  I just wish Kaymbree looked a little happier to be in the "Bell Dress" that she calls it.

It is kinda Kaymbree's special treat to help daddy drive to church each week.  We live like 4 houses away from the church so it is really not far and usually we walk but one day we were running late so we hoped in the car and Dan let Kaymbree help steer. So now she never wants to walk and always wants to drive to our really close church house.

This is us trying to get a family picture on Easter. Our kids just didn't feel like it!

At least this cute guy would hold still and pose for me!
I am so thankful for Easter and the time we have to reflect on our Savior.  The Savior suffered so much for us and gave us the Atonement so that we can be forgiven for our sins.  I love the Savior so much and appreciate all that he has done for me personally.  I really do "Feel My Savior's Love" daily.  And I wish I would do better at remembering him all the time.
