Dream Puppy.......Maybe?
I have never been a dog or pet person at all. Neither is Dan and when we first got married we said that we would NEVER HAVE PETS! Well, "Never say Never!" Ha Ha. We didn't get a dog but we did dogsit for Scott and Heather and we loved the little dog. Dan actually liked him more than me! So we decided that we want to get a dog in a little bit. We want to start with a small dog but since we are not dog people and have no clue and we need some helpful advice. We don't want to rush into it with us being so inexperienced. We researched some dogs and figured out that we want a Teacup Maltese puppy. We even decided we want a girl and to name her Bubbles. And don't think that getting a puppy is going to replace us having children! But let me know what you guys think and your experience with dogs. I don't know if this is just a phase that we are going through or what. But look at these pictures they are so cute!

Its definetly a cute puppy. We had one of those when I was growing up.Her name was Whitley. Maybe I'm not the best dog advice person cuz I'm really not an animal lover...I think you just need to keep in mind, that although they are cute, they are super expensive with shots and grooming and food and everything, they go to the bathroom in the house unless you train them, they chew on everything, and I think dogs smell regardless if they are clean or not! They are basically a ton of work! I would personally wait out for the baby, which is a huge job in itself!....lol...but like I said I'm so not a animal lover, even though that is one cute puppy! Sorry don't mean to be negative... its really smart to get advice ahead of time though. Good luck in your decision! Love you guys!

Kellie, I would love to get my girls a little doggie, but taking care of the girls is enough work. I think if you are planning on a little baby soon, I would wait. Newborns are a ton of work and taking care of a baby puppy would just add to the work! I love that little dog though, and I might have to get it for Myah if we don't have any more chidren! Good luck!
