There is a Great Reunion Today!

The sweet apostle Joseph B. Wirthlin passed away last night, peacefully in his sleep. It is sad because he was such an amazing apostle for our church. He served the church for many, many years. He was 91 years old and still serving daily. He is such a good example for everyone and he has strengthened my testimony with his amazing talks. With this we mourn, but I am also so happy for him. Here is a clip from a KSL article:
"He served a mission in Switzerland in the late 1930s. After returning, he married Elisa Rogers.
The two were married for 65 years before Elisa died two years ago. Her passing, their son said, was the most difficult day of Elder Wirthlin's life, and he takes comfort in knowing his mother and father are together again. "There's a great reunion today," he said."
I just thought that was an amazing way to look at it. He is going to be with his eternal companion again. What a reunion that will be when they embrace on the other side of the veil. He will also have a great reunion with many other great people. WHAT A GREAT WAY TO CELEBRATE A LIFE! I just hope that I can live my life so when my time comes I can have a great reunion!

Oh my gosh Kellie...i haven't been on the computer for awhile and I just read about your twins. I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. I am definetly glad to hear that your other baby is doing well. i don't know the feeling of losing a baby but i do know the feeling of how quickly you get attached to the sweet little spirits that we carry. you will be in my prayers as well as your other little baby. you are such a sweet heart and are going to make an amazing mother! i know i'm no where near where you live but please let me know if there is anything i can do for you.

He was so cute huh! I just always remember his talk during the past conference- "Come What May, and Love It" It was such a good talk, everyone needs to read it I think too. Especially during these crazy times with the economy and such. Hope you are doing better girly, we have been thinking about you guys!
